If a person has died without a will or a trust, we can represent the nearest living relative with the administration of the estate according to the intestacy statutes. If the deceased person left a last will & testament, we can represent the named personal representative (executor) in the probate of the estate. When a deceased person leaves an estate in a trust, we can advise the successor trustee in administering and distributing the estate according to the terms of the trust. We also represent clients who are heirs of estates or beneficiaries of trusts in making certain that they receive all the accounting records and distribution of assets to which they are entitled.
